What Happens in Fairyland stays in Fairyland!

Theater Pizzazz had one of the best times at the meet and greet event at Gallow Green at the McKittrick Hotel for the incoming off Broadway comedy Fairycakes set to begin performances October 14 at the Greenwich House Theater on Barrow Street, NYC.

This looks like a laugh a minute written and directed by Douglas Carter Beane. Stirring around in his psyche since high school, it took the pandemic to push Fairycakes out within a very short time. And what could be sweeter than knowing exactly whomever Beane targeted for the roles all said ‘yes.’ It’s a mashup of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and old world fairy tales.
