‘ I Hear America Singing” was the theme for the September 11, 12013 concert for City Green held in the Tudor City Garden. The songs were of Hope, Joy and Inspiration. The whole cast joined in Singing “America.” The beautiful blend of their voices echoed through the park in the shadows of the UN.
The Concerts for City Greens was conceived and developed by Raissa Katona Bennett. It is part of a newly forming non-profit, MUSIC and ART FOR GREEN, which has the unique mission of promoting awareness, funding, and community for public green spaces, by creating and producing free professional music and art events for culturally, socio-economically and age-diverse audiences in city settings.
