Give them a little culture as they listen to the NY Philharmonic on the Great Lawn at Central Park. Kids can practice their baseball swings and watch a ball game at the MLB All-Star Fanfest at the Javits Center, see a sculpture show “The Lightness of Being” at City Hall Park, learn how to pogo at Pogopalooza – and these are just for starters!
Movies and shows abound – Despicable Me2, RiverFlicks for Kids is showing ParaNorman at Hudson River Park, Civil War history is a free summer show at Theatreworks USA, Cirque du Soleil’s Quidam is at Barclay’s Center, see Willy Wonka at SyFy Movies screening, The Smurfs2 are headed to theaters.
