Become a producer on Scott Siegel’s Concert Series where performers get paid!

The idea, as you can see from the first concert, is to create shows that feature New York’s most talented performers. The concerts will appear on Facebook , YouTube,  Twitter,  on SiegelPresents.com, and they will be emailed directly to the producers through this GoFundMe campaign. And you will be honored for having produced these concerts with your credit prominently displayed in the concert videos.

Scott reports they are already at work on the second concert; among the stars you will help to support with your contributions are
William Michals (Emile de Beque in the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific)
Danny Gardner (Dames at Sea, Radio City Summer Spectacular)
Elena Mindlina (International Opera Star who gave a show-stopping performance in the very first Broadway’s Rising Stars Concert at Town Hall)
Farah Alvin (Drama Desk Nominee and star of 6 Broadway shows)
Christiane Noll (2X Tony Nominee)
Kenita Miller (3X Drama Desk Nominee)
And More!

The first show had a wonderful reception. It was a Time Out NY pick, and it was seen by 1,100  people on Scott Siegel’s YouTube Channel and thousand more through other outlets all over the globe. But the most important element of the show was that the performers were PAID!

As Scott said at the beginning of this project, performers are out of work. They are likely to be the last people that will go back to work. Still, of course, they perform and you can find them, giving their talent away for free on FB and elsewhere. It comes from a good place – wanting (needing?) to entertain to help raise morale, not wanting to be forgotten, keeping their gifts honed and ready, etc. But it’s not fair, and it’s not right, that these musical theater, nightclub and concert performers are not being paid. They have something truly valuable and necessary to offer.
