J2 Spotlight Musical Co announced its 2024 season which includes productions of Do Re Mi and Lucky Stiff. Do Re Mi with music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, and book by Garson Kanin, will run Apri 19-28.

Tina Howe’s Final Play Where Women Go will play Off-Broadway World Premiere. It will receive a posthumous world premiere Off-Broadway via Tent Theater Company in association with Concord Theatricals. The show, a collection of three one-acts, will play the HERE Mainstage February 9-25.

The Flea announced the world-premiere production BATHHOUSE.PPTX by Jesús I. Valles (they/them),directed by Obie Award-winner Chay Yew (he/him) will run at The Flea Theater (20 Thomas Street) from Tuesday, March 19 through Monday, April 22. In line with The Flea’s radical new operating model, BATHHOUSE.PPTX has been developed in partnership with Valles as co-producer on all elements of their production. www.theFlea.org
The 2024 Chita Rivera Awards will take place on Monday, May 20 at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place off of Washington Square Park), it was announced today by Joe Lanteri, Founder and Executive Director of the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation, Inc. Lanteri produces in conjunction with Patricia Watt.
The nominations for the 2024 Chita Rivera Awards will be announced Friday, April 26 and the “Meet the Nominees” press event will take on Monday, May 6. This year’s cut-off for nominators to see eligible shows is April 25.
