Isaac Mizrahi returns to Café Carlyle with a special concert series called ISAAC@CAFECARLYLE, full of stories and songs, delivered right to your living room. Filmed (without an audience) at the New York City landmark, the show is being presented on the BroadwayWorld Events pay-per-view streaming platform. The first show will be released on Friday December 4 at 8p EST. Three additional completely unique shows will be released on January 8, February 12, and March 19. Each show will kick off with a live premiere event, featuring a special chat, which will include Mizrahi himself, and then will be available on demand for 30 days. Mizrahi will be accompanied by his six-piece band, led by Ben Waltzer. This virtual Broadway Bee is free and presented by Broadway Bound Kids, who are partnering with the Broadway community and the creators of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee in support of arts education. The Roustabouts Theatre Co. is presenting the world premiere of Roosevelt: Charge the Bear by Marni Freedman and Phil Johnson, starring Mr. Johnson in a virtual filmed presentation as part of their fourth season. As theatres all across the world are adapting to current conditions, many are moving their presentations to filmed productions online. _Roosevelt: Charge the Bear is the second historically-based offering penned by Freedman and Johnson. The Acting Company (Ian Belknap, Artistic Director; Margot Harley, Founder) announces they will celebrate the holiday season with a virtual benefit performance live streamed December 17 at 8 pm EST.
